CTG_MKP_2011Nov140Do you believe that Cambodia is a match for US or UK? Through the Carbon Trading Game held on 29th November 2011, students in Ma Ko Pan Secondary School showed how countries can reserve their economic competitiveness by setting aside their natural material, manipulating the price of the carbon offsets, trading them in the system of carbon trading.

Besides, offering the less developed countries to break through, students also learned that carbon trading has been the most successful policy mechanism to cut the carbon emission globally as it attached value to emission. This lesson cannot be more precious as they learn how the ‘Set Aside Scheme’ and ‘Carbon Trading’ work in real world from their own acts.

Thanks to Mr Tang of Ma Ko Pan school for all the arrangements.
