After seeing the electric bike at the Roots and Shoots expo in Renaissance College, Jonathon Hamilton at Canadian International School (CDNIS) invited us to come along to their CAS (Creativity, Action, Service) fair on 17th September.
With the much-appreciated support of Darren Gilkison at SplashHK, we were able to get everyone and the gear to the fair. The electric bike and the bokashi generated a lot of interest (and the bike provided some extra lighting). At one point it looked like the electric bike would be ridden to destruction by a number of keen boys, but in the end the boys wore out before the bike did.
Thanks to Darren Gilkison, Chris Lam, Patrick Woo, Murphy Shin and a lot of effort from Simon and Athena at Sensation Organic for making the day possible.
