The Jane Goodall Institute in Hong Kong kicked the school year off with a bang with a Roots & Shoots Asia Pacific Youth Summit on 30th August 2010 at Renaissance College. To help connect students with Hong Kong NGOs there was an Eco Expo during the lunch break.
It was a great opportunity to meet students and teachers from different schools in Hong Kong. We put our visitors through their paces on the electric bike (fortunately we were inside in the cool!) and chatted about bokashi composting. Later we were lucky enough to be able to sit down for the presentations. Thanks to Corinne and Joyce at Roots and Shoots.
