A collaboration between four schools (Hong Kong University Graduate Association College, Li Po Chun United World College, Renaissance College and Sha Tin College) put on an event to raise awareness of famine in support of World Vision.
rchk_famine_20-3-10_n1smAround 120 students gathered in Renaissance College and endured a 12-hour mini famine whilst partaking in a number of related activities.  Xavier Keung, one of the student organizers from Li Po Chun College (LPC) had enjoyed played the Carbon Trading Game before and seeing the relevance to issues of poverty and famine, he invited us to run the game for a morning and afternoon group.  Thanks to Zoe Coughlan and Pete Gauld for helping out at short notice.
