Global warming is now widely taught in schools, but theory, textbook and internet resources don't make it real in the classroom.We're developing equipment that will allow schools to demonstrate global warming and enable students to run experiments where they can vary the quantity of carbon dioxide and see the effect for themselves. Hopefully this will be ready for the new school year in August 2010. |
Teng Hoi Conservation Organization is a member of Take Tech Ltd, a non-profit making organization registered in Hong Kong. We develop practical and participative environmental programmes with a strong emphasis on education and measurable results. 'Teng Hoi' is a Cantonese phrase that translates as 'listen to the sea', a name that came from our first programme, the development of a device to locate explosions underwater generated by illegal fish bombs.
