Having been to different companies and schools, the Carbon Trading Game once again surprised everyone by finding an ever-new challenge, to hold it on stage. On 6th Aug, Tenghoi was invited by the JP Morgan to participate in its RecycleBank Fun Day and to hold the carbon trading game on stage for the JP Morgan interns as well as students from other participating schools.

The Carbon Trading Game found its way to Alibaba Group, one of the world’s leading international e-commerce companies, in an afternoon session on December 17th as part of their staff training program. Being a China-based company, we were very lucky to have a good mix of participants from both Hong Kong and mainland China. As a result, the game has also made its first debut in Putonghua.
CPA Australia members took part in an evening game on 8 November as a way to gain awareness on climate change and the ethics of carbon trading. Not surprisingly, the game began slowly with countries pulling out calculators and set squares to determine the optimum price / measurement ratio for their resources.
When planning the presentation for the American Club to raise awareness about carbon emissions, we wanted to make it light-hearted, accessible to kids and families and of course fun. So we worked with the club, David Brown at BEC and students from Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong (a Cap and Trade school) to design a 10-minute show that would fit the bill.
