Offsetting organizations Carbon neutral lights
iLighting's already environmentally-friendly lights just got greener. iLighting Global Enterprise Company Ltd has agreed to offset some of their carbon emissions from manufacturing their lights with us.
The company also makes LED lighting that has the additional benefit that they don't contain mercury, a toxic metal found in fluorescent tubes and compact fluorescent bulbs that usually ends up in Hong Kong landfills when the lights reach the end of their life.
Teng Hoi Conservation Organization is a member of Take Tech Ltd, a non-profit making organization registered in Hong Kong. We develop practical and participative environmental programmes with a strong emphasis on education and measurable results. 'Teng Hoi' is a Cantonese phrase that translates as 'listen to the sea', a name that came from our first programme, the development of a device to locate explosions underwater generated by illegal fish bombs.
